P.S. If you are going to be stamping while using a matte top coat, make sure you stamp first because the polish will not stick to the matte top coat.

More fun with Essie Matte About You
This time I went with a much lighter matte mani. I used Sally Hanse Xtreme wear Lacey Lilac which is a very pretty pastel purple. It was late when I started this mani and I had to get up early so I didn't feel like doing anything crazy. I decided to just stamp on a pretty design and be done with it. I used white Art Deco and stamped this pretty swirly flower design. I then added 1 coat of Matte About You and called it a day.

Essie Matte About You
I finally got a matte top coat!! I have been wanting one for so long. After reading a bunch of reviews about which matte top coat is better, I decided to go with Essie Matte About You. It was between this and China Glaze Matte Magic but Essie was more readily available so it was decided. I am so glad that I bought it because it is so much fun and if you think about it having a matte top coat pretty much doubles your nail polish collection! The first thing I wanted to try when I got this polish was a matte glitter. While I was out shopping I also picked up some new Pure Ice colors including Oh Baby. I used this color over black and then put a coat of Matte About You over top. The pictures did not even begin to capture how pretty this turned out.

This is a picture taken after putting the matte top coat on only the pinky so please excuse the mess. This is just to give you an idea of how much the matte top coat changes the look.
Finished product all cleaned up! Oh Baby is just a very fine glitter that reflects different colors in the light. In this pic you can see the blue and purple.
I was not able to capture the green color that this glitter reflects but this is my new favorite glitter! It is so fine and reflects a rainbow of colors!
What is your favorite glitter?
